Richard has been as a drummer and percussionist for over 25 years and a mastering engineer for the past 10. He qualified as a fully trained sound engineer in 1991 and since then has been involved in the music industry as a musician, session player, engineer, teacher, writer and producer.
He has worked with various artists including Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Corinne Bailey Rae, Sisters of Mercy and Aswad.
Richard is part of the ‘Northern Assemblage’ of writers which includes Barrie Gledden, Kes Loy, Tim Reilly, Steve Dymond, Richard Lacy, Jason Pedder and Sulene Fleming.
